American Continuity

American Continuity faction flag

Identity: Government, military, and territorial control
Flag symbolism: Star and three stripes.
Core values: Government · Military · Control.

The American Continuity descends from surviving federal institutions, military commands, and major industrial corporations. It maintains fortified rail hubs, armored locomotives, military depots, and industrial settlements.

Ambition: Reunify the former American territories and rebuild the Great Forge under centralized authority.

Weakness: Rival military commands and corporate interests compete for control.

Transit network: Depends on major continental lines to supply its enormous territory and deploy its armies.

The Continuity believes strong government is necessary for survival, but its protection comes with strict laws, rationing, and compulsory service.

  • A shipment of embers fails to arrive at a station the faction depends on.
  • A recovered component from the Great Forge could shift the balance of power.
  • A railway junction becomes contested, forcing the faction to choose between negotiation and force.
